Privacy policy
YES Cleaning Portal is run by YES TOTAL CLEANING PTY LTD (“YES Cleaning”, “we”) in Melbourne, Australia. It is used by our cleaners and staff to sign in, check in at work sites and report on their work.
What we collect
• Your name, email address, date of birth and home address.
• If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. We do not get your Google password or access to your Gmail, Drive or other Google data.
• Documents you upload for approval, such as a police check and passport or ID.
• At each check-in: a photo taken with your camera, the time, and your phone's location at that moment. Location is only read when you check in or finish a shift, not in the background.
• Your replies to job alerts (for example, your arrival time or a reason you can't attend) and the details needed to send you notifications.
Why we use it
To confirm who you are and that you can work with us, to record when and where work was done for our clients, to calculate pay, to contact you about your shifts, and to meet our legal obligations.
Who can see it
Only YES Cleaning managers can see your documents, photos and location records. We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers. We may share it with our clients (for example, a check-in photo as proof of service), or where the law requires it.
Where it is stored
Your information is stored securely with our service providers Supabase (database and files, Sydney region) and Vercel (website hosting). Documents and photos are kept in private storage that only signed-in managers can open.
How long we keep it
We keep work records for as long as we need them for pay, tax and client records (generally up to 7 years). Identity documents are deleted when they are no longer needed after you stop working with us.
Your choices
You can ask to see or correct your information, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@yescleaning.com.au. If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
